Motivation from Metro Police

Two of us headed off to Menlyn to watch a movie with some friends. During the trip to Menlyn we had a very big argument and ended up spending quite some time in the car at the parking lot trying to solve this issue we had. Frustrated we headed off to the movie and finished watching it. Afterward we grabbed a take away pizza, headed back to the car with the pizza and decided to pray for the situation, since talking wasn’t getting us anywhere. As we prayed, the frustration immediately lifted and things were looking much better.

On the way home with the pizza, we decided to eat the pizza next to the highway (just to be different). So we sat down next to the highway and started eating the pizza. We were chatting about what if someone stops because they think our car broke down and we joked saying that then it would be God’s way of sending someone to us so that we can chat to them about God. Next moment the Metro Police stop right behind us and find us sitting next to the highway so late at night (about 22h30) which to them was very suspicious. After these 2 policemen were happy that our car is not stolen and that we are “really” just here to eat pizza, we started chatting to them about God. We had an amazing chat that lasted almost an hour and were invited to a wedding of the one policeman and invited to share our testimony at a local church by the other policemen.

It really motivated us how God helped us overcome the big fight we had when we prayed and then not long after sends 2 men to us where we could all share our testimonies with each other. God is awesome!
